I recently enjoyed a romantic escape at Myrkdalen Resort Hotel, and I must say, the location is simply unbeatable for any lover of the great outdoors. Nestled amidst stunning mountains with access to Norway's largest ski resort, it provided the perfect backdrop for our adventures. Our spacious room, complete with a balcony, was inviting after a day of skiing on the beautifully groomed slopes, which we had almost to ourselves during the week. The staff truly enhanced our stay; from the lovely welcome drink upon arrival to their excellent recommendations for surrounding sights, we felt very well taken care of. We also indulged in the delectable half-board dining-five-star meals that absolutely delighted our taste buds! I did wish for a more extensive wine list; it's the little things that make evenings cozy, after all. All in all, Myrkdalen Resort Hotel felt like a haven, perfect for rekindling romance or reconnecting with nature. I can't wait to return, possibly with my camera gear, to capture the breathtaking scenery in all its glory!
